About Us: Background
Christian Links in Keighley Schools (CLiKS) was formed as part of Central Keighley Churches Together in July 2003 in order to coordinate Church work in the local schools. It became an independent Management Committee on December 15th 2005, and took responsibility for funds already received for this purpose. It was declared a Trust on 10th January 2006, and registered as a Charity No. 1114284 on 18th May 2006. It is a Scripture Union Associate Trust.
The Trustees from January 2011 are Rev. Peter Mott (Chair), Dorothy Grant (Secretary), Clare Dewhirst (Treasurer), Mike Cluett, Colin Stow, Bill Mitton and Capt. Alison Gardner SA. One third of us step down each year and may be re-appointed. Steve Grasham acts as our consultant, and Alison's Line Manager.
