- We wish Miriam Dunn well in her new job as Chaplain at an Academy in Merseyside, and hope that she settles in well.

- Rewind to Christmas is an event for Year 6 pupils from local schools, run by volunteers from churches across the Keighley area that have been checked for their suitability to work with children. The event will be held on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th November, and Thursday 1st December at Keighley Shared Church, 6th December at St Thomas Church Sutton-in-Craven, and 15th December at Silsden Methodist Church.
The event is a fast moving multi-media presentation lasting an hour and a half and includes:
- Individual work books designed for Year 6;
- Modern retelling of the Christmas Story;
- An explanation of many of the modern Christmas traditions;
- Small group work; and
- Games and a craft activity based around the Christmas theme.
The event is aimed at children of all faiths and none. We explore the traditions surrounding Christmas and why it is an important festival for Christians. Please contact Alison on 07806 869569 or info@cliks.org.uk if you’re interested in volunteering as a small group leader, support team, technical support or upfront leader.
