Emma has had the baby! Joshua Martyn was born on 6th October, and Emma and Tim are enjoying spending time together as a family.
New CLiKS Schools Worker Appointed
CLiKS appointed a new worker, Alison Way, to cover Emma’s maternity leave for the next year. Alison started at the beginning of August and has had a fantastic first 2 months meeting staff and pupils and finding new ways to work with schools.
REWIND to Christmas 2008
REWIND to Christmas is back again this year! We have 655 children from 21 local primary schools attending the event. REWIND explores the original Christian Christmas story through a modern retelling, games, craft, reflection and other activities. The pupils have the chance to learn more about the traditions of Christmas and why it is a such an important festival for Christians, as well as having time to think about what Christmas means to them. This is an annual event run by CLiKS and enjoyed by pupils and teachers alike! If your school would like to be involved or if you would like to volunteer at the event, please contact me.
CLiKS Van
Over the summer CLiKS managed to purchase a van for transporting the djembe drums and other resources. This is an exciting step forward and evidence that the work is growing and that CLiKS is here for the future! Hopefully we will be getting the CLiKS logo painted on to the van in the near future.
