Building Strong Relationships to show God's LOVE

About Us: Team

AlisonAlison Way: CLiKS Schools Worker. I originally come from Stafford in the Midlands where I started as a volunteer youth leader at my church. Since then I’ve been a Children’s Chaplain, a Youth Pastor and a Schools Worker. I qualified as a Youth and Community Worker in 2008 with a BA Hons Degree from Durham University.

My role as CLiKS Schools Worker is to facilitate a Christian presence in every school in our area, to establish, maintain and develop links with all the schools in the area, with the aim of making pupils’ experience of church and Christianity a positive one. I offer schools support which appropriate to their context and the backgrounds of the children, for example collective worship, lesson support, drumming workshops, prayer spaces or large events.

Another aspect of my role is encouraging volunteers from local churches to support their local school by offering their services, in whatever way they can.

Dan Pratt: Second Year intern with the Salvation Army. Studying with the Centre for Youth Ministry on the Engage course. Dan will be involved in detached schools work, youth clubs, RE lessons, assemblies and other creative ways of engaging young people with education and faith.
